I've removed my account, but my resume website is still showing up in Google search results. Why is that?
Google and other search engines periodically seek out and index information that is posted on the web. This indexing process doesn't happen everyday, however, so when changes are made to a website (like the removal of your profile), it is sometimes 1-2 weeks before the search engines reflect those changes.
If you have removed your account and resume website and are still seeing those pages in search results, be patient. Normally within 1-2 weeks, the search results will update, and you will no longer appear.
