As you may have noticed, we’ve recently been testing support for both the United Kingdom as well as Canadian job search. We’ve had numerous requests for both of these countries, and we’re pleased to be able to make it a reality. Search local jobs by clicking on the “Search” tab along the top of the site.
We’ve also been quietly testing Emurse Employers. We’re actively engaged with a number of folks providing feedback on the service, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. We had a brief outage over there today, but things seem to be humming along again nicely.
Thanks for all the support. Remember, if you enjoy Emurse, consider upgrading to a premium account

“Since your resume sums up your entire professional life, it’s important to take it seriously, but you can also have fun with it, too. Emurse makes standard resumes feel antiquated.”

“It is convenient to have your resume on a website, and it makes it much easier to update it. The great thing is that you can access your resume from any computer and change it on the spot. This is a smart service.”

A resume is a basic means of convincing an employer to contact you and arrange a formal interview. After noting what not to include in a resume, it is also important to consider what should be emphasized in a resume.
After the work experience section there are several additional sections that should be utilized to illustrate your competency, “hireability”, and separate you from the rest of the applicants. Utilize these suggestions and you’ll be on your way to an awesome resume.

(or, “Common Resume Mistakes and What Not to Include in a Resume”)
When applying for a job or career, your first impression is often your last impression. A well-prepared and polished resume is an excellent means of getting yourself noticed among the other applicants competing for the same opening. As with mistakes in professional etiquette, mistakes and errors in your resume may make the difference between receiving an interview and finding your resume in the recycling bin.

WOW! WOW! WOW!
I love Emurse.com!!! It’s a one stop shop. I could do everything right there. So much more was available to me for free than I would have ever expected. I stumbled upon Emurse while searching for websites offering free resume templates. I quickly and without any difficulty was able to put together my resume and select from 3 different styles to print it in. Today I went back to Emurse to make some changes to my resume and discovered all the other options available to me FOR FREE!!!! I was able to save my resume in many different formats, ie: pdf, rtf. This is very helpful because different companies request different formats. I am able to keep track of all my job hunting activity and update the status of each application as it changes. And I even created a website to post my resume on! I feel important now.
Gotta go, I want to get back to Emurse.com to see what else I can do.
Thanks a bunch and good luck (you don’t need it though)!
